65 swimmers will cross the Bay of Bourgneuf, supported by Philippe Croizon

Philippe Croizon, a quadruple amputee, will support 65 disabled and able-bodied swimmers as they cross the Bay of Bourgneuf.

The swimmers will take on the challenge on September 15, 2023, to raise awareness of disability and to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in society.

The event is organized by the Association Handi Cap Evasion, which Croizon founded in 2010.

The association's mission is to promote the practice of adapted physical activities for people with disabilities.

Philippe Croizon is a French motivational speaker, author, and adventurer. He lost his arms and legs in 1994 when he was electrocuted while working on a construction site.

Despite his disability, Croizon has gone on to achieve many remarkable feats, including swimming across the English Channel, the Strait of Gibraltar, and the Bering Strait.

He is also the first person to swim across the English Channel with four artificial limbs.

Croizon's story is one of courage, determination, and resilience. He is an inspiration to people all over the world, and his work to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities is truly commendable.
