Kylian Mbappé once again proved his worth as Paris Saint-Germain secured a crucial away victory over Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League opener. The French forward netted the winner in the second half, as PSG began their European campaign with a hard-fought 1-1 draw.
Borussia Dortmund took the lead in the first half through a stunning strike from Youssoufa Moukoko. However, PSG hit back swiftly after the break, with Mbappé capitalizing on a defensive error to level the scores.
Both teams had numerous chances to win the game, but profligate finishing and excellent goalkeeping kept the scoreline level. In the end, a draw was probably a fair result, with both sides showing their quality in patches.
The result leaves Borussia Dortmund top of the group, while PSG sit in second place. Both teams will now turn their attention to their next Champions League fixtures, with Dortmund facing Sevilla and PSG traveling to Benfica.
